A while back i posted here to get some opinion on which dress I should get. I’m not back with my final 2!!
This dress is a new Essense of Australia dress. It’s $2000. This is my top dress. It’s ivory and in mermaid shape
Today I found a sample dress of the Maggie Sottero Yolanda dress. It’s priced at $850!! It’s a sheath dress and the color is sort of grayish blush.
Though the essence dress is my favourite, I love the Maggie dress as well. And the price difference is gigantic. The Maggie dress has all over swarovski crystal and it’s original price is $2400.
Should I go with the cheaper dress?? anyone has tried either dress on that can share?

I voted the Essense, it looks fabulous on you, everything about it suits you.

Though the price difference is considerable I think the Essence photographs better with it’s more dramatic skirt. YOu look perefect in both dresses with your perfectly proportioned figure ( no I’m not jealous…much )

You look perfect in the Essense, and I think you only want the Maggie because of the price difference. You look great in the Maggie as well but I think you’ll end up getting dress regret.

I think that both are very beautiful on you–I’m curious, what’s your venue? I feel like the first dress looks very classy and elegant for a more formal wedding. However, that lovely Maggie would look beautiful in a woodsy/garden/outdoor wedding.
Either way, you look perfect in both. I think my favorite is the Maggie, but I think it’s more of a style preference! Plus, I’m biased, because I have a Maggie dress too and I love their dress designs! The Maggie really shows off your figure.
This is going to be a tricky decision for you! I think it’s really going to come down to a style preference vs. what looks best on you because they both look wonderful. Good luck!

You’re going to look amazing in any dress! I voted the Essense. If you can afford it, go for it. I think if the money is there, but you buy the Maggie, you’ll end up regretting it and buying the Essense anyway (and then trying to sell the first one, not fun!).

they both look great on you, so I don’t think you could go wrong with either. I did vote for the essense dress because it really accentuates and flatters your curves, and looks more bridal to me.

my wedding is going to be in the private room of an expensive restaurant. Ceremony is going to be held in their private courtyard. I guess it’s a less formal venue. The Maggie for sure will be easier to move in but the Essense is very light as well

I prefer the Maggie! I think it shows off your figure better and has a wow factor.

I had a similar delimma and my mother gave me some pretty good advice. She told me how she chose her dress because of the lower price and how to this day she regrets it and does not like looking at her wedding pics. She told me to buy what I love. Which was easy because I shopped within my budget. I did buy the dress that was twice as expensive, but I love it. My advice (as long as you are in your budget) buy what you love regardless of price.

I prefer the Maggie! I’m a big fan of sheaths and you have a rocking body for it! Love it!
