Hello! I’m still hunting for a dress, and at the moment I’ve got it down to two. The first one is a Maggie Sottero in light gold, and the second one is a Sincerity in ivory. I like the Maggie dress itself better (especially the color!), but I think the Sincerity is more flattering. Torn! What do you guys think? (Note: These are both quite a few sizes too big as shown here…) I’m having a 60-guest wedding and reception both outdoors in the mountains in October, by the way.

Love the chardonnay on you. Also you should add a pole.

@bridetobe7844: There’s a poll at the top – thanks for the tip!

I actually think the Maggie is very flattering on you, too! It seems like the Maggie sample is bigger on you than the Sincerity dress, so I think once the Maggie dress fit you like it is supposed to, they would be equal in the flattery department.

They’re both very pretty but I think the first one better suits your venue. I’d go with the Maggie – it looks great on you!

I prefer the Maggie, the second dress reads a little prom to me

I like the first one better (personal taste) but I think the second dress suits the venue more (outside with mountains). =) So I voted 2.

Wow! Even split. The second dress does give you a bit more of a waist, but you look tiny with a great figure so you certainly don’t look anything less than gorgeous in the first one. I think the first one is definitely more appropriate to your venue. And I agree with @LGenz, the second one is a teensy bit prom.

I LOVE the first one! So vintage and unique! The second one is beautiful but more common in my opinion.

Both of them look great. The only reason why I voted for the ivory one is because I like its top/bust much better. The Maggie one’s bust just looks kinda funny. But maybe it would look better a few sizes down.

I really like both, but vote for the Maggie. I think you’ll find that once alterations are completed it’ll look fantastic. It looks like it might just be too big?

you really cannot go wrong. If a white dress is important to you than #2. I prefer #1 though

i dont like the first pic with the stuff in the center of the bust and the stuff on the skirt looks messy to me.
i love the second dress! i think the beading makes it look really rich.

I love the skirt on the first one but the bodice of the second! I’m sure that’s not helpful, but they’re both gorgeous!
