Hi everyone!
I went dress shopping last week, but everyone was torn between two dresses, myself included. I said yes to the dress, and do love it, but would love some opinions as I keep second guessing myself and my decision!!
Dress one (lace) :

Dress two:

I love the first one! I like the allover lace in a large pattern. #2 is pretty too, more of a modern style if that’s more you.

I think you picked a great dress shape, they both look beautiful but I really love the lace in the first one! The train and buttons are stunning as well. Let us know what you decide!

First off, you look great in both! They are similar silhouettes and styles, so it’s just a matter of personal preference. It’s probably due to dress sizing of the samples, but #1 sits on you better. The lace offers intrinsic embellishment, so you wouldn’t have to add much in terms of accessories. #2 is more modern and sleek, though in the sample, the sash sits a bit low, and I may be concerned with the fabric creasing. With the right fit and jeweled belt, #2 would be divine. My guess is that most people will prefer the more traditional lace one.

They both look so gorgeous on you. I normally love lace but I think the 2nd one is made for you.

As with pps I think you look great in both , and normally I am all about plain rather than lace, but that first dress looks SO good! It may be because it fits better of course …..

This is a matter of preference. Both dresses look great on you! I prefer the second dress, no lace but to be fair I usually almost always prefer no lace. I love clean simple lines and I think the veil stands beautifully agaisnt the second dress.
You can’t go wrong either way!

Both look beautiful on you, but the lace just has that something extra and romantic feeling that makes me go “wow”. Which one did you choose?

I would have liked the second more plain one if it weren’t for either the seam or boning just showing through that is just super obvious going down both breasts. I can’t tell from the photo on my phone if it is the actual seam, but regardless I find it really distracting and it detracts from what would have otherwise been a super sleek and modern looking gown.
So my vote is the first dress which is absolutely lovely.

I agree with the poster that mentioned the boning being distracting – I think that the lace dress looks more classy, and I am usually a fan of clean, no lace designs.

I voted for dress one! You look lovely in both, but I find Dress two to be a little plain. I prefer the added detail of the lace!

Hands down, #1. Not even a question in my mind. It really stands out, and has that “wow” to it.

As they are both very similar I think it’s really down to personal preference. Most people love lace but it’s something that never suited me personally (I also think it’s super overused) and also I love simplicity of the second one. So #2 for me but again, you ,look stunning in both and all though I personally wouldn’t pick lace the lace dress is gorgeous 🙂

Also may I add, if you decide to go with #2 but thin it might be too plain, you could add a belt, add something to your hair, have a detailed veil etc!!
