hayley1989 :  I can’t really see much difference! Stick with the one you have, it is beautiful and looks so good on you.

It’s your special day…Go for the dress you truly want which I think is the Pronovias.  The Maggie is pretty but a little cookie cutter. I have seen this style hundreds of times.  The Pronovias is more elegant in my opinion.

If possible, try on the Pronovias before buying it though.  Often dresses look way more amazing in pics and on others than in real life.  Good Luck!

They both look beautiful (and very similar…) Go with your guts. The style obviously suits you well and the difference between the two are details only you can really see and decide on.

Be VERY careful with these photos- the Pronovias model is styled in a very sexy way with that side on pose, and it’s designed to show off the dress. The girl standing in the Maggie dress is just facing the camera in a changing room. If you styled the Maggie in that way it would give the same overall look on the body.

If you already own the Maggie, I’d stick with that. They are very similar. You’ll lose money selling the Maggie so add that on! The main difference seems to be that the Pronovias is an organza/tulle bodice and the Maggie is lace. Most bees given a like for like comparison would pick the lace.

And be careful what you wish for. I chose a Maggie which is closer to the Pronovias (except it had a straight skirt) and I found myself sort of wishing I’d looked at lace dresses, even though I did love my dress and knew it was a good choice. It’snormal to regret a bit just becasue you can’t have every amazing dress you see.  You always want what you haven’t got!

hayley1989 :  I really love the Pronovias. The asymmetrical design looks gorgeous (I think it might be my personal preference for non-lace dress though! But I also think in the picture it looks a little tooo sexy on top? Could just be the particular person though. You won’t go wrong with the Maggie, it’s a really pretty dress, but if you really feel right in the Pronovias, you could always sell the Maggie and get it!

leonatigra :  I agree with you on the pose. So I posted some front-on photos of the Mildred being worn by Bees.

And a front-on photo of a Bee trying on the Storm:

I suspect the Mildred will be more flattering because of the ruching, but on the flip side, Pronovias dresses generally aren’t as structured as Maggie Sottero ones are.

I don’t think the Mildred is so much better that it’s worth going broke over, but if you can afford to buy it, I think you should judging by how it made you feel.

Also, I don’t think you’ll have any trouble selling the Storm as it’s very much an “in” style.

Love the storm. Almost bought it myself but couldn’t find one in my siz to try on. Don’t think the pics do it justice here.

I think they look really really similar.  I’d stick with the one you have and stop looking at any dresses.
