- Wedding: February 2013
I am torn between 2 dresses, the 1st which is quite fashion and the 2nd which is more romantic traditional.
We are having a church wedding and recpeption is in a mansion style house with a beautiful staircase which we walk down into the room & chandelier above, very romantic setting…
DRESS 1 – Mark Lesley ‘Fifi’
It has a very fashion look about it which I love.
The bodice is lace and sparkly beading fitted to the hip and then the skirt is made up of layered, messy, ruffly tulle & lace.
Sorry my photos are not great of me in it as I only had my terribel phone camera with me when trying, but have added some professional shots I found of the same style online.
DRESS 2 – Pronovias BAROCCO
This is also a beautiful dress (I don’t think the photos from the website do it justice).
The bodice is lace, beads & sequins so it does sparkle, it is fitted to the hip and then the skirt puff’s out with a lot of volume and long train.
I would add a lovely sparkly belt as I think it is missing something as it is.
I would wear a long veil with some sparkles with this style.
(Sorry I don’t have photos of myself in this, only web shots)
I think the shape on me looks more like the below style, and to also give you an idea with a belt…
I am going back to try FIFI this week to see how I fell about it again…
Let me know what you think?
I work in fashion so I do like to be a little different but is FIFI too messy looking? Will Barocco look better in photos?
Look forward to your comments…
