We just decided to get legally married this year. We will still have the church wedding and reception next year July as planned. So basically we will just go to the registar in December and sign the papers. It will be just us, our 2 girls (6 and 2 year olds), the witnesses (with their 6 m.o. baby) and 1 other friend (DPs has 2 best friends – one will sign for him at the civil ceremony and the other will be best man at the wedding but both will participate in both). No parents or anything. Then we will go for a meal and call it a day.
With the above in mind which of these dresses will you chose for this event. I attach the shoes I will be wearing. They are non negotiable being my dream shoes!
(AAh and if my post makes it into that other forum where sad bitter people make fun of brides on the wedding bee… Bite me! :P)

Second dress will look amazing with those shoes!

I am also leaning towards the second dress! I think Inwill order both and just see which looks better on me but that second dress is just so lush!

I like the fuller skirt better. I personally don’t like narrow skirts they make me think of offices, lol.
What forum do they make fun of people on here on?

There’s another forum where people make fun of the posters? Really? Huh….Didn’t know that.
I’m a sheath dress kinda girl, so I prefer that one.

at this length I am also thinking the fuller skirt!
me too! I will be in a full length sheath dress for the wedding but not sure about the registar office

And yes, i stumbled on a forum that makes fun of us on here and was utterly disgusted. I will see if i can find it again…

I think it depends on your body type, but the fuller skirt looks more bridal and I like the lace on it better. It goes more with the mid-century style of the shoes, too! (this is a style I love, by the way)
On the other hand, the first dress you could probably wear again and it super cute. I could never wear it because of my obnoxiously huge hips in proportion to the rest of my body.
I vote #2 anyway 😊

I like the first dress a lot.

Depends on your body type but I think the straighter dress gives more prominence to the amazing shoes!

Totally the second one! 3/4 length sleeves are so elegant and flattering and the slightly fuller skirt is a bit more ‘fun’ and I feel suits the shoes better.

both dresses are really pretty, but the cuts are so different it’s hard to choose without seeing them on you.

I like the first dress best but th second one works best with those shoes (irregular choices brand yeah?)
