My Fiance and I have decided to elope (just the two of us) on a cruise we are taking in June. The cruise will sail around the Mediterranean starting in Venice and ending on Barcelona and we will either have the ceremony in Italy or on the ship out at sea. Which dress do you think fits best? OR which dress do you prefer?

Personally, I prefer the second one, but that is without seeing them on you.

Thats the thing, i will be purchasing the dress from online so I wont get to try it on in person. To give you a better idea of my shape, this is another dress that I was considering before Fiance and I decided to elope.

You have a beautiful figure, I am jealous of your curves. I would love to see you in #1 as you really have the curves to pull it off. I still like #2, but I think #1 would show your sexier side, if that is the way you want to go.

I love the back on number 3! Super unique and sexy 🙂
Keep in mind if you go in churches to bring a wrap or cardigan with you though to cover your shoulders!

I voted number 2 I think it will flatter you.
Side note…you will want to check on the legalities of the elopement abroad. I’m saying this because we’re eloping to Paris and it is NOT considered legal in the U.S. So, we have to have a civil ceremony here. Usually there’s some sort of residency requirements. Congrats though! It will be romantic!

So I am voting option 1….
I would have TOTALLY voted for one of the “flowier” options in the past, but on my last two vacations I saw brides with flowy dress get married while we were in port, and in each case her dress was blowing everywhere! Her veil keespt getting in her mouth, the dress wouldn’t stay put, and she was just having an awful time of it.
Since then, I say if you are getting married on a ship, go for fitted and heavy! Preferably with a fascinator or birdcage…..
Just my two cents.

I voted for number 2! I love the sheer material, just screams cruise to me (: and it isn’t too fancy but it is still bridal and it’s one of those that will definitely flatter your figure

I voted number 3 at first but then seeing your gorgeous figure you’d totally look JAW DROPPING in dress number 1!!!!

Thanks everyone for the compliments and the votes!! I’ll have you know that the votes are SUPER close together and I am still REALLY unsure of which option to take. Because it’s a cruise should I choose a less “weddingy” type of dress and save option 1 for our vowal renewal? Or do you think option 3 is too revealing for Italy. (It won’t be done at a church, it will have to be a town hall in Florence to be legal.)
I NEED MORE VOTES! lol. Please help.
@MrsElopement: Trust me I have been looking all over the place for a way to make it legal for us as opposed to just having a symbolic ceremony. If I do it with the cruise line, it will be on a day where we are out at sea and it will still be legal. But if I want it in Italy, we have to do paperwork in Venice before we leave and have the ceremony in Florence 10 days later so that they have time to process it all.
@MrsDulce: I never even considered a birdcage for myself, but I think I may have too. I never thought about the wind being an issue. Thanks for the advice. :o)

Two is so pretty! It’s so breezy and cruise-worthy.

I voted 2, and then I saw your picture and was like whoa, she needs a dress that shows off those curves! haha. I still like 2 the best for your scenario but you will be beautiful in any of them!
