It’s your wedding and you should wear what you like. I think the long dress  will also go well with your venue.

They both will work, so do whatever you prefer.  I voted for the long dress becuase how many more times will you have one to wear?

    • I LOVE the long dress! It is absolutely stunning! I understand where you are coming from though! I am having a very casual wedding and reception of about 100 people and have been going back and forth between ankle length and full length. Thanks to all of the lovely bees out there, I have decided to go with the more formal full length dress. As much fun as the shorter dress could be, I know I feel more like a bride in a full length and you only get that chance once! ๐Ÿ™‚ Do what YOU FEEL beautiful in!

You appear to be having a large wedding at an estate! That definitely says “wear a princess dress” to me!

@nanimenez:  I know what you mean about being relieved about not being the only one. The process has been very difficult for me! Ha I have posted pictures of the two dresses and I just posted the short dress on eBay today for sale. Fingers crossed I get a buyer! I see now we are date twins too! ๐Ÿ™‚ June 29th will be a VERY special and beautiful day! ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree! Wear the long one, it will look more romantic in pictures too!

I’m getting married on a beach, just us two, and I was looking for a simple sundress. But I felt blah in all of them. So I bought a big tulle puffy gown and I’m happy. It’s my first and only wedding and guess what – I’m wearing what the hell I want.

If not now, when?! You’re not a bridesmaid, you’re the bride!
