Honestly I don’t think either of them would be good for a beach wedding but they are very pretty though.

Marti973:  I agree with Bored6: Neither of them seem very beach-wedding to me.

That said, they are both gorgeous, so if I had to choose, I think the second is my favorite

Neither look beachy to me. Neither looks any better than the other for a beach wedding… they’re pretty similar.

When I think “beach wedding” i think dresses like…

I think they are both gorgeous but personally wouldn’t chose either for a beach destination wedding. They both appear too formal, rigid, and most of all look like they’d be hot to wear!

Sorry OP but I agree…Not sure either would work for a beach wedding although they are gorgeous! Beach brides tend to choose lighter, floaty fabrics because of the heat…Both of those dresses look very heavy and fitted, you’d be sweating like crazy! The bottom and train of that style dresd is also a worry as you’d be dragging the sand with you instead of ‘floating’ across it

They’re both beautiful, but neither. They would be extremely difficult and uncomfortable to wear on a beach.

As a fellow dw bride I have to agree… Neither are good for a beach. You will be hot and sticky. Mermaids are already hard to walk in. I couldn’t imagine dragging these dresses through the sand. Both are gorg for a different type of wedding but not for a beach . Sorry!!

Marti973:  welp, I’m wearing a formal satin gown to my Destination Wedding. The actual ceremony itself won’t be right on the beach but it will be outdoors. And yes, it will be hot but I’ve seen all sorts of dresses pulled off on beaches, which are heavier than mine (and than the one you posted). Bottom line is, wear what you love. You get one day, and you can do whatever you want! If you want a formal gown on the beach, do it! It’s your day ๐Ÿ™‚

I agree with the other bees, neither of those say “beach wedding” to me, but hey, it’s your wedding and if you want to wear a formal dress on the beach, go for it!  And you can not go wrong with Mori Lee ๐Ÿ™‚  I think that they’re both lovely gowns, but I chose the second one because I love appliques on the skirt, so that would be my choice ๐Ÿ™‚ Have you tried them on?  They are very similar, but when you try them on, you’ll know!

Well I am going to go against the grain and say where whatever the hell you want, even if others don’t consider it a “beach wedding dress”. I like the first one better. I am wearing a silk, meramid on the beach and I’ve seen other bees do the same thing.

I agree with everyone else. None of them are a perfect fit for a beach wedding.  Think about all the sand and how u will have to walk through it.
