- Wedding: October 2013 - Tybee Island, GA
They look similar. but if that’s the style you want, go for it!! i had a beach wedding and wore a dress with ruffles at the bottom 🙂 not a beach dress at all! but i loved it, and the pictures turned out FABULOUS

I don’t think either dresses are for a beach wedding. When I think of the beach I think of the wind beautifully blowing through a flowly dress. Not a stiff dress that won’t move (I love mermaids! I got married in a mermaid dress). but mermaids (despite the name) are not beachy.

You only get married once (with any luck) so wear what you love and what makes you feel beautiful, venue be darned 🙂 both dresses are beautiful!! Go with your gut!!

Both would be great with your location/ gazebo set up. I am also getting married on the beach (in the sand though). I’m not wear your typical “beach” dress that all the bees are referring to. Mine is a form fitting/ mermaid. Go with what you love, you only get married once!
Heres a picture of my Destination Wedding gown 🙂

I’m also doing a beach side wedding and not going with a traditional destination dress. Both are pretty. Wear what you love!

Neither have that beach feel to them. But I do prefer the top one.
