So….I am torn between two different types of dresses! What do you think?? I am 5’2″ and 145lb (will hopefully go down to 130lb, ha). The first one is Allure 8809 and the second dress is Maggie Sottero Agnes.

I personally like the first one better

i love the first one! you should add a poll. everyone loves polls and you’ll get a clear picture of which one people like better.

I like the second one. But I’m a sucker for ruffles ….

In my opinion there are pros and cons for both.
First one I love the ruching on it…hate the satin, shinyness of it. Thats just me though… not a shiney material type of person.
Second one I love the both ruffles, so fun! Hate the bling on the top, and possible rubbing the underarm area… painful after a long day!

@joanna329: I LOVE the second one! I don’t like how shiny the satin is on the first one or the pick-ups. I love the bottom of the second one. I feel like dress #2 gives you the best of everything- it has a sexy modern shape on top but still has a bridal princess feel with it’s fabulously poofy skirt.

@joanna329: I would try both on and see how you like them on. I am petite and found that mermaid dresses weren’t a good choice for me. They might look great on you though! Post some photos with them on!:-)

I’m not big on satin or pickups, so #2 I like more! It would depend on how it looked on you though- hard to tell without seeing you in them.

personally i really dont like the 1st one at all, i love the second. so much more romantic and flowy. but thats my opinion and u have to choose what you feel most beautiful in and i guarentee which ever u choose youll look amazeballs in!

thanks everyone! I think the second one looked better, but both looked good on me…I added a poll! Thanks for the tip!

also, sorry, don’t have pics of myself in them! The place wouldn’t let me take pictures of myself 🙁

How are you shaped? I think if you have an hourglass shape, the Mermaid would show off your curves.
