I’ve tried on more dresses than I care to admit and need some unbiased input.
These are the 5 dresses I like the most, so far. Could you help me narrow it down to the top 1 or 2? The wedding will be outdoors in the mountains in early fall, and it won’t be a big wedding. It’s just going to be parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. and will be less than 50 people total. I’m very short (just shy of 5’1″), which has been a little tough.
Here are the dresses. Please ignore the untoned arms and stomach and don’t let that influence the dress choice because I just started P90 and am going to be much more toned at the wedding (really!).
Allure Couture C243 ($2,225) – I’m standing on my tiptoes in this picture, not on a pedestal, lol.
Nouvelle Amsale R102G ($2,800). I’m wearing heels in this picture. It’s hard for me to picture this dress once altered or more in my size/height.
Hayley Paige Cricket ($2,068) – Standing on a pedestal in this picture. Ignore the tummy!
Bliss by Monique Lhuillier 1314 (this one’s $2,700 or $2,800, can’t remember). On my tiptoes in this picture too.
Watters Alexandra ($3,068)

The first one! I love it!

I like the first three. Not too crazy about the last two, but that’s just my style. I LOVE the second one on you. You look great in them all, though.

Love 3! 1 is nice as well.

I generally am not a fan of dresses with tiers, but I love the design and style of this dress as well as the beautiful lace, and I think this dress is by far the most beautiful of all of the gowns you’re considering. It looks fantastic on you!

Definitely #1! It looked beautiful on you! Have you thought about a crystal belt with it? I think that would complete the look!

I love both the first and second one.

@luverly7: I’m really short too (also 5’1″), and I had the same issue when trying on dresses … Sometimes it was hard for me to picture how the dress would fit once it was hemmed because there was just so much dress. I’m also planning to wear flats because I hate heels … So I won’t be getting any extra height!
I voted for the Allure Couture. It looks best on your body, and is an overall gorgeous gown. My second choice would be the Watters (though I could be slightly biased since I ordered the Watters Odette). I love that Watters dresses can be very romantic and flowy without swallowing up the girl inside them … As a fellow shortie, I’m sure you understand how important that is!
