So I have been on a Maggie Sottero dress roller coaster. I have fell in love with three dresses and I need your opinions to help me choose the ONE! I have not been able to try on any of these three dresses because I wear a size 14 and I cant find a sample size of either dress that will fit me. I was able to try on Adorae and Kendall which resemble these dresses.
Dress #1 MIA
Dress #2 Arabella
Dress #3 Tristan

It would be better if they were on you! Just by looking at the pictures, I like the Arabella!

@misschickpea: I agree! I got an email from a bridal store that says they can get a sample in for $300 but the $300 would be applied to any purchase I made. The only downside is that I will have to drive five hours but I think it might be worth it.

Do you have a picture of you in a similar dress??

What is with a store charging to get a sample in?!? I ran into that with my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and was soooo mad. Its on your website that you carry the designer. The designer says you carry their dresses at your store. YOu call up and no dress there. Oh and i fyou want it we will charge you for it. Ridiculous!
Gorgeious dresses!! Similar to mine kinda with the ruched satin. I like 1 and 3 , but it looks like the waistlines are the big difference between those two dresses so watch out for that when tryign on something similar.

@ashump210: I looove dress #2 with the sparkly belt. It highlights the waist nicely. The first one looks to me too much like a “wrapped present” dress up to the waist. I am sure they make these in your size. I hope you can find them soon to try on.

Arabella, for sure. That may just be because I am now obsessed with all things lace! LOL (amazing how getting engaged turned me into a girly-girl)

My vote would be for 1, except it seemed to add awkward bulk on a couple of other Bees. So, you should definitely try it on beforehand.
- the prettiest of the 3 to me
- looks like a lace-covered full-body cast
- looks like two dresses rather poorly melded together

@MlleFabuleux: + 1 LOL re full-body cast. It may look prettier in person, but the combination of Photoshop and lighting makes that model look mummified.
#1 would be my pick out of the three, but would have to see it on you – it’s a style that can be unflattering on some ladies.

@Ktlady: I know this whole process is so frustrating! They should have some kind of inventory site that keeps up with sample sizes their location and size.

You ladies are making me nervous! I am having so much doubt with ordering a dress without trying it on and now I dont think I can do it. What if I buy the dress and it comes in and looks horrible? Just found out that the store that claimed they could get me the sample was unable to produce it! So upset.

@ashump210: Have you seen photos of real brides in the dresses? That should give you a much better idea of how the dresses will look, too.
- Tristan (couldn’t find any)

Hm, I say dress #1!! Only because that used to be my dress 🙂 it’s beautiful, made me feel curvy and sexy.

@MlleFabuleux: Thanks the pictures really help!
