Please help! I’m considering three dresses:
Priscilla of Boston Vineyard Collection Lindsey (I love the top but I’m not sure I like the ballgown skirt. I want to wear the dress, not have it wear me)
A Paloma Blanca (Not sure which style number. Ignore the bump at my waist–the sash is covering a flower that I would take off)
Heidi Elnora– style Callie Aldridge (I would take off the petal/flower decorations on the straps)
Which do you like best? Our wedding is next summer. The ceremony will be in a church and the reception will be outside, under a tent. We’re going for a summery, preppy vibe (navy suit for the groom) so I’m looking for something special but not too over the top. My mom lives in a different state and my Maid/Matron of Honor just had a baby, so I could really use your advice. Thanks!!

I like the first one best, I think its the most figure flattering. Honestly though, I’m a huge fan of any of them. Sorry!

I absolutely love that first dress!!! If you don’t wear it I will lol!

Thank you for your nice comments!! I appreciate the advice.

I really like the last one, it really shows you off. The second one is really close behind.

I like the top of the first one a lot!

I love the POB but the Paloma comes in at a close second. If anything, it looks like the Heidi is wearing you…but that could be because of the extra fabric.

The paloma is my favourite!

@tennesseebee418: I don’t know if the best word for the PRiscilla dress is “classy” or “classic” but it is definately both. You look like a million dollars in that.
The other tow are so NOT a million dollar look.

I agree–the POB is definitely the most classic. As soon as I put it on, I knew my grandpa would love it 🙂 Thank you for your nice words!

I love that part too! It is amazing how perfectly folded and pleated it is.

OOOOO I like the last one! or the first one :} Cant decide…there both beautiful on you…

God, I love the POB one. It’s not wearing you at all. It’s classy and classic and tailored perfectly. You’ll be able to do whatever you want with jewelry, hair and shoes because it’s a perfect canvas.
The Paloma Blanca is also perfectly lovely, but I feel like I’ve seen that look everywhere just now. However, I don’t think you’d regret that dress for a minute if you decide that the POB is too plain, or uncomfortable, or somehow isn’t what you want. And the third dress is weird with the strap decor, but just too plain without it.
You’ve got some contenders!

You make a good point about the Heidi having a lot of extra fabric. It is cut big in the top (and I am definitely not :)) and I wonder what it would look like after alterations. Maybe it would never fit as well as the POB…
Thanks for your opinion!
