I have two dresses for the wedding
#1 is ceromony
#2 is reception
Which one should I wear to do my first dance? They both are not easy to dance in…LOL, #2 is easier than #1 for sure, but #1 seems to be more suitable for first dance? I don’t know…need your input! 🙂

The white one has long cathedral trail.

If you wear #1 for your first dance, when would you change?

I thnk you already want to wear the red one don’t you ? Normally I’m all for wearing one’s white wedding dress for every possible second and don’t like the idea of reception dresses, but I think this is a red wedding dress in the Chinese tradition isn’t it, so wear it and be comfortable ( and gorgeous )

It’s more Vietnamese style. It is easier to dance in, however the white one seems to be more appropriate.

The red dress looks like it would be easier to dance in! Also, if you wore the first one, like PP said, when would you change? It feels like you are more likely to change before the dancing, not during.

I will start the reception, then dance after people finish eating?

If I wear the white one, I will then dance first, then start the reception dinner…either way is okay?

I say wear the white for the first dance! I think then afterwards you can change into the red and it can officially be “party time” lol

Personally I wouldn’t want to have to leave my reception to change plus I think the 2nd one looks easier to dance in, so that gets my vote!

Definitely the red dress, both because it’s more comfortable and because it’s much more practical.
First dances are usually done after the dinner part of the reception to kick off the dancing and socializing part of the evening. It wouldn’t really make sense to do your first dance before the reception.
