I am sure that your Fiance will love you in any dress you pick. He’s marrying you and not the dress. If you are more comfortable in styles that aren’t ball gown then go with what you like, you need to feel confident in your dress. It will make you smile on your day and that’s where real beauty comes from.

I just checked out the Justin Alexander one. I flipping love it. It’s so pretty. the detail on the jacket is just stunning.  I love to wear something like that. Wow! It’s stylish and elegant. Love it.

I looked at the Allure, I looks very princessy and totally not my style I really didn’t like it. JMO. But ultimately it’s your choice. I really love the Justin Alexander!

Your ideas sound lovely. I would go with what you are thinking. Steer cleer of the ballgown. the up-do will look so classy. I really can’t wait for your re-caps. Best of luck.

@Mikioct101014bride:  This one is easy, the fitted one Justin Alexander, perfect, with the birdcage veil etc lovely. Im and older bride as well and as much as i love the ball gowns I just know on the day i will feel silly in one. Plus it will be hot when i get married so even more reason to keep it light and simple. You will feel most confident in the dress you feel right in and when he sees you in that dress he will be floored!
