Please help my pick a dress!
The first dress is half the cost of dress 2… I’m taking the top of one dress and adding a skirt from another dress:
Original dress–keeping the bottom of this dress but changing the top:
Now dress # 2 by VW! I love this dress just not sure if it’s worth spending that much money for a dress!
Please let me know your thoughts!! If you picked dress 1, can you also tell me if you think I should change the top of the dress or keep it with the original look? Thank you bees!!

I voted for the Gemma. I actually prefer dress #1 completely unaltered, but between your 2 options the Vera wins. Your vision is nice, but I wouldn’t trust the alterations on the first dress not to come out totally butchered. But if you trust the seamstress completely, go for it to save some $$ as the dresses are pretty similar!

I love dress #1 just how it is! I think changing the material on the majority of the dress is really distracting (at least for me!) The organza material is beautiful and really flows into the bottom of the dress! Change the top to a sweetheart if thats the look you prefer!
The Gemma is so similar to the first dress but I’m not a huge fan of the bottom. It doesnt flow as well IMO. With the cost as much as it is, I would definitely say #1!
PS- I didnt vote because theres no option for “stick with #1 but dont combine with other dress top”

i totally love how you altered it by combining the 2 dresses together, if its cheaper then just try to alter the top to make it more like a bra corset like in the second pic, vw has gorgeaous dresses just to die for but your creation is just as amazing , if its cheaper then go that way if not get the vw as its already close to what you want 🙂

I woulkd just change the neckline of the first dress to a sweetheart. Dont mix the two fabrics though by combining dresses.

I agree with another post, making dress #1 a sweetheart top and leaving it the way it is would look very stunning on you!

i do not care for the combination of the two dresses. i say either go for the first one (no changes) or for the VW.

I love dress 1 with no changes…. maybe just make it a sweetheart if anything, but that’s it

I like the first dress, just the way it is. It fits your body so nicely!

I love the first one on you 🙂

I picked dress 1 but I wouldnt TOTALLY vhange the top to the look of dress 2, Rather I would just have them bring in the center of the neckline a little just to make it a slight sweetheart, more flattering! But the dress itself it gorgeous!

i love vw gemma on you. it was my second favorite mermaid dress.

I think the VW is just stunning. If it’s too much money, stick with dress #1 without the changes. I think with the changes it looks funny :

I am not a huge fan on Gemma because I feel like it is too “messy” looking.. And I really dislike the first option.. I vote for you to keep looking. If you are set on these two though, gemma wins by a leap.
