Hi all! So I have a dress dilemma because the dresses I love cannot unfortunately be tried on.
I fell in love with Enzoani Diana but there aren’t any stores that carry the sample anymore and I just can’t justify ordering it and spending $2000+ when my whole wedding is $10,000.
I also found the Brazilian wedding dress designer Wanda Borges and her dresses are gorgeous! Although she does not sell to the U.S. and each dress is customized to each bride.
I found through the Bee the amazing Jasmine’s Bridal Shop and am definitely going to get my dress made through them! So my question is, what dress do you think Jasmine’s would be able to replicate and which dress would you choose?
I’m not even sure Jasmine’s could replicate the Wanda Borges dresses but its worth a try! I already emailed James about the Enzoani Diana and he said it was definitely doable. I’ll email him about the other dresses, its taking about 7 days for a reply right now though.
Thank you all so much for your help!
Top dress is the Enzoani Diana:

Wanda Borges:

And I do not know the designer of this last dress:

@Kellbell11: If you’re replicating a dress, it might as well be the one you love. With that being said, I voted for #1.

I love all of them! However, the third one I think is beyond beautiful. It almost looks gold but I am assuming they could make it white? I love the sweetheart neckline and all the sparkle!

@Kellbell11: ohhh I love the glamorous look of #3! but I feel like Jasmine’s would most be able to replicate Diana because its very popular and the lace is easy to match… not sure they’d be able to create the look of #3.
I also just love diana in general! Its such a beautiful silhouette.

@Kellbell11: The gold one is a prom dress called Sherri Hill 2585. It looks like you can purchase it for around seven hundred.
What is your budget? You can probably find a used Enzoani Dakota online.

@kellbell11 funny, I ended up purchasing the diana this past Saturday!! I was looking for other brides who had worn it to see how they accessorized it, when I came across your post! It truly is a gorgeous dress, the sample I tried had def. been tried on A lot, so I can’t wait to see it clean…& in my size! I ordered the ivory/ivory though, the grey belt is different in person! Since you are having it made, take your photo to a local shop & ask to try on dresses that have the same features as Diana ( I.e…the train, the neckline, the lace straps) this way you know how each detail will look & if you truly love it ๐ good luck, it is an unbelievably beautiful dress! (Oh, & not sure what your dress budget is, but the 2013 enzoani (can’t remember if it’s blue by enzoani, or just enzoani, but the “Olva” dress has similarities to diana, it’s cheaper, & with the diana belt, it’s GORGEOUS!…it was almost my dress!)

@somethingaquamarine: Oh wow, didn’t realize that’s a prom dress! Haha, I don’t like it as much now that I’ve seen more pictures. Sequin overload! Thank you! I haven’t been able to find many used Enzoani Dianas online, and the ones I did find in my size are $1900+.
@MrsJH13: Ahh you’re so lucky you found a sample! There literally are not any samples in Colorado or back in my hometown area of Northern California. I did try on a lace Enzoani (I have no idea what the style was called, the saleslady wouldn’t leave it in the room for me to write down) that was a mermaid and we tried to make it look like the style of the Diana. I didn’t see Olva at the store, I did try on a style I liked called Ola, but it didn’t have enough lace for me. You’ll have to post pictures when your Diana comes in! ๐
Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it especially because I’m doing this dress search on my own (I live 1000 miles away from any family)
