We are totally setting up the bar & are trying to figure out what to serve.
So far we have:
1 red, 1 white wine – Do you think we need a rose?
Beers: Fat Tire, Corona, & Guinness – What else should we add?
Signature Drinks/ Hard Liquor – Some kind of crown drink, some kind of margarita, – ideas? other hard liquor drinks to include?

You have a nice variety. I don’t think you need a rose. I actually like your beer selection: Fat Tire is very hoppy, which is popular right now. Coronoa will please the people who want a less hoppy beer, and Guiness will please the stout drinkers.
As a rule, I think offering one light and one brown liquor is good. Bourbon is very “in” right now, so instead of the crown drink you could offer bourbon sidecars and margaritas as your two cocktails, and I think between the beer, the wine, and the cocktails you’ll have offered something to almost everyone (especially if you made the margariata a flavored one…I’m not a fan of flavored margaritas, but then you’d have something for people that only like ‘girly’ drinks). And of course, if crown is a personal favorite of your or your Fiance, then I’d stick with the crown instead of the bourbon.
Nice job, though. You’ve done a great job thinking through things.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah crown is my SO fav drinks so kinda a necessity although I like the bourbon idea. Any other thoughts?

I’m so glad you’re having margaritas! That is my fiance and my favorite drink!
Anyway, it’s amazing what people will drink when it’s an open bar. If they only have three choices, they will find something, believe me. I think a red & white wine is fine. It’s an interesting beer choice, thank God for Guinness! I think the beer will be fine, but it’s interesting you didn’t choose like BudLight or MillerLite. Baha!

everyone loves mojitos! although I know they are difficult to make quickly!

Mmm. Fat Tire. Finally someone with a good beer choice!

@Miss Chloe: maybe you should have a beer that is brewed locally in colorado.

@dfurst: So New Belgium – Fat Tire is brewed locally in Colorado – Fort Collins.
@nmsoonerbride: Also, my SO just tried a new Bourbon they make in Breckenridge, CO so now I am thinking a bourbon drink may be on the table. Any bourbon drinks you would recommend?

Very different acohol selection, I like it!
With the wine, the white and red will be fine and the rose really isn’t necessary.
With the beer, great selection but maybe you could have some kind of lighter or more, how do I put this without sounding cheap and generic lol, mainstream beer that everyone will drink. For example, any of the Budweiser beers or Michelob, Miller. Ha does that make sense? Something that’s easy to drink and a good alternative to the others.
With the liquor, again cool selection but I would recommend a clear liquor like vodka or gin. That way you have a dark and a light option. That’s awesome you’re having margaritas!

I like your selection! sounds great! something for everyone. I do not think you need a rose wine. what you have isfine. I do agree with the budweiser. I LOVE corona, but you could possibly substitute the corona with budweiser, and perhaps limit your hard alcohols to 1 rum, 1 vodka and 1 whiskey or something like that, it will be much easier on your budget:)
and yes, margaratias rock! 🙂

I think your selection is great! You totally don’t need a Rose wine, I don’t think. But I DO think you could add a vodka cocktail, because I know quite a few people who don’t like dark liquors and shy away from tequila. A vodka cranberry would be simple or anything fruity, really. But you seem to have really thought this through!

I am glad everyone likes margaritas! So as far as the generic light beers – are there any people like more than others Coors, Bud, Miller?
I like the ideas on hard liquors – so yeah vodka, whiskey, tequila and what should the forth be rum or gin? Any ideas for cool drinks w/ whiskey or bourbon?

I agree with everyone that said vodka cocktails. Rye was also very popular at our wedding. Polling your friends can also always help! I wouldn’t worry about having a Rose.
