My ladies are wearing mismatched grey or silver dresses and mismatched purple heels (both they already own or are buying from anywhere they want). Their bouquets will also be purple. I thought it might be nice to buy them earrings to wear the day of. I want the earrings to be earrings they would all want to wear after as well. I am buying them gifts outside of the earrings.
Which of these earrings would you like most?
A- sterling silver & amethyst drop pear:

B- sterling silver & fluorite calla lillies:

C – sterling silver filigree:

D- silver & swarovski crystals:

E- double sterling silver:

F: sterling silver & swarovski birdnest:

I might wear A or E, but I most likely wouldn’t wear any of them again.

The second ones kind of look like vaginas.

@Shkragoldfish: I’d go with E, just metal, no colored crystals bc it will go with anything!

@Shkragoldfish: I actually like them all, and think that they all could be worn again.

@Shkragoldfish: C and E are the ones I like the most. I’d wear either of those after the wedding is over– I’ve actually been wanting some like E for years but I’ve never actually gone and bought them!

I like my earrings to be very understated and simple, even when they’re big. So I would go with the amethyst pears (A) or the double sterling silver (E).
Do any of your maids have allergies to metal or have no ear peircings? I know most women do, but I ran into that with my girls. It’s not something you really think of.

It’s funny- I almost didn’t even include A because I thought they might be too big for some. For anybody not choosing A, it’d be helpful to know why.
I’m also tempted to go with the metal only look of C or E since that can be more re-wearable as some PPs mentioned. If anybody who doesn’t like C or E could throw out their reasons why not, I’d really appreciate that too.
@MeiFrancis: you probably wouldn’t wear any again because you don’t usually wear earrings or you tend to wear gold or non-silver stuff? just wondering

C is probably the most versatile but I love A.

@Shkragoldfish: it’s mostly about the construction, I don’t usually go for clip or fish hook styles because I think they look crafty or inexpensive, which just isn’t the look I like for my own jewelry. A lot of people do like those styles though, just not my cup of tea.

@MeiFrancis: understood and makes perfect sense. good to know. that’s part of why this won’t officially be their gift.

@AllyCRN: yup, all have pierced ears and no allergies to metal (well & especially not allergies to steing silver, which most or all if these earrings are made of).
