I have several gmail accounts (maiden name, married name, old school email that was on a gmail platorm) that all get forwarded to the same inbox. I like it because it’s integrated with other google features.

I love gmail! Having the drive helps a lot for storage and sharing. My family has a shared drive that we all upload pictures to! I use the shared sheet with Fiance for wedding plans and guest list.

I also love that gmail allows to link my old Yahoo email address to be all forwarded to my gmail account. That way I still get any lagging emails (by now, it’s only coupons and spam. I swicthed like 5 years ago)

bibber:  I’m dedicated to gmail, but obviously have to use my work account too.  Google Now scans my emails and sends me delivery notifications, bill reminders, calendar suggestions, all sorts of stuff. It’s the creepiest and I love it.

I have a gmail account with my married name and a gmail account in my maiden name. I’ve slowly been trying to change everything from my maiden name account to my married name one, but it’s a slow process (mostly because I won’t dedicare a block of time to it and tend to change accounts over as I get emails from them)

I too have an old hotmail account from…..2001, maybe?  The domain is actually msn.com, but I can pull it up via hotmail webmail, although I usually just use Outlook.  I’ve had the email address for so long that I can’t imagine trying to use a different one, even though it includes my last (maiden) name.  I actually think I”m going to double barrel my last name, so maybe it won’t seem as odd to keep using it?

Gmail is the way to go. It can’t hurt to try it out.

I have a G-Mail address for personal things and a business e-mail under my own domain (that may or may not fall under work). But I’ve hooked them both up to Mac mail on my desktop, laptop, and phone, so there’s really no difference.

After I changed my name, I wanted to get a new Gmail with the new name, but literally every variation of the new name was taken. I have since gotten an icloud email address, and I really love it. Esp how it is connected with my phone, contacts, and calendar so seamlessly.
