Steak, I absolutely hate fish. I would be starving if there wasn’t a safe go-to chicken item!

KonaSensation:  I would offer both and skip the videographer. It’s normal to have a choice, particularly at a formal event, and if I were a guest and saw that you got a videographer and cheaped out on the food I’d be really annoyed.

KonaSensation:  I’m pescatarian, so unsurprisingly I would choose there fish for me lol. But to serve at a wedding, I would go with the steak; I think it will be more of a ‘crowd pleaser’.

FWIW at our wedding we had 4 options: chicken; salmon; steak; vegetarian. Over 50% of our guests chose the steak.

KonaSensation:  That’s a tough one. Fish is a much lighter option and considering your wedding is in the summer, and it is formal, this would be your best choice.

But……..

In this case, you should go with the safer option which is the steak.

Ideally you should officer both. But hey, it is what it is!!

Also, is there a way for each guest to let the waiter/waitress know what their choice is once they sit down? You’ll only have to assign tables and you don’t have to do that with name cards, you can do a cute board or something.
