you obviously know your guests better than myself, but I would be eating side dishes with those choices. I don’t care for sea food and have never had a desire to try lamb, maybe I would be adventurous and branch out…. If your 20 friends don’t have issue with seafood mahi sounds like the best option.

I personally do not like seafood or lamb so I would just eat the sides…

Mahi Mahi matches with the locale the best and sounds delicious

The rest of a menu is as follows:
Appetizer – mixed seafood ceviche
Salad – squid and mango salad
Soup – saffron and mussel cream soup
– (insert entree)
Dessert – yuca and vanilla creame brulee

Seeing the rest of your menu, I would actually change my vote to the lamb. You have lots of seafood already, so I think the lamb would be a nice change of pace while still connecting to it with the fruit and sauce.

I agree. There’s already enough seafood, and the lamb sounds like a great dish.

I think your menu sounds fab and, more to the point, you obviously chose those options over the others because YOU thought they were the best (and most tasty) choices. Personally I would be pretty satisfied as a guest! I’ve been to too many weddings where the maincourse has been a flavourless, lukewarm chicken breast with overdone, soggy veggies. Your lamb would win it for me! x

Won’t be able to eat any of the above, so I guess I would bring a PB & J sandwich with me…

No vegan’s amongst our bunch! But suddenly one girl tells me that shes allergic to lamb…

If everyone’s good with eating fish it looks like the Mahi Mahi is the winner, if not I still think skewers presented nicely are good, see if they’ll give you both chicken and beef, I find skewers come out better in large batches than steaks or chicken breast do.

I vote for the Mahi Mahi – I have a issue eating lamb and veal, and agree with you on the jambalaya.

I would eat it all. mmmmmmm
