They are technically both shared prongs, but just different styles of prongs.  I don’t think you can go wrong with either one though.  I do personally like the second more more as I think it makes the stones look more round.

I like the rounder prongs on the second one.

Cant go wrong with either, I agree with PP about both being shared prong… I looked at the links and wish there were photo reviews of the 2nd one, however I am slightly leaning toward the 2nd… hard decision!

I have a few eternities, some of which are similar in style to the ones you are considering.  It really depends on if you are going more for comfort or style.  And of course the bigger the stones are, the higher the setting will be and the more likely it will rub on adjacent fingers.  The ones I have are:

The smallest is the 1/2ctw Riviera from Blue Nile, which is similar in style to your first option.  Very comfortable and low profile.  Not the most exciting profile though.

Medium is 1ctw Luna from Blue Nile, which is a u-prong. Love the profile view of this one and it is also super comfortable.  If u-prong is an option for you that is what I like best…especially when worn alone since the profile really shines.

The largest was a pre-loved purchase and I don’t recall the ctw (maybe 1.5ctw?), but it is similar in syle to your second option.  This one is the highest profile of the three and is the least comfortable due to rubbing on adjacent fingers, but the profile is a bit more interesting than your first option (and my Riviera).

@DoeEyes:  I’m biased because I have the one that’s similar to the second style. The first one looks like a tire or something to me. It looks just…idk…cheaper or something for lack of a better word. Here’s the style I prefer on me.

I would definitely go with the first one bc it’s lower profile so less rubbing and jutting between your fingers. I like the look better too.

I have shared prongs.  Shared prongs tend to make the stones look more round when the prongs are close in the middle. When the prongs are shared but closer to the outside, the stones will look squarer.  Of course they are all round, the middle prongs just emphasize he round.

I like them both but I think the second one looks a bit nicer. I just got mine today that is also 3 mm, it has a bit of a higher setting than the ones you’re looking at, it’s also a lot more affordable. I got it in silver for $50, but they had it in 14k for 250 I think. Store is AEAW Jewelry from Aliexpress
