I’m getting married in November in Michigan, so I’m anticipating some pretty chilly weather. I’m strongly considering doing a faux fur bolero, shrug, or stole during photos to help keep warm (plus I love the look). Below is a photo of my dress and some picures of the pieces I’m considering. Which do you think would go best with the dress?
Thanks in advance!! 🙂
Or if you have another suggestion, I’d love to hear/see it! Sad we can’t make polls anymore. 🙁

they are all beautiful. i can’t decide. i wore a wrap myself (my mom made it for me). however, november can be a bit colder than april so you may want something with the sleeves.

I like them all except for the one with the sleeves..somehow it looks overwheing. Any chance you can order one or two options and try them on with your gown? As your gown has a high illusion neckline, it might be a bit more challenging to match a coat/shrug/wrap to it.

For warmth, I’d go with the one with sleeves. But really, I think the third one – the stole – would coordinate the best. So, I’m no help. Sorry. 🙂

I really don’t like the look of the full sleeves… i would go with the third option.

Thanks for the input ladies! I am leaning toward the second option, mostly because of the warmth factor. I also think it could have a very old Hollywood glamour look to it…or it could look completely stupid! Maybe I’ll try to order #2 and #3, since they’re from the same seller (Etsy), and just keep the one I like best.

I love no. 3 and 4!! But if it’s really cold I don’t know how much they will help 😉

laureneliz87: In my opinion, I adore the second one!!

I love option 3! It’s beautiful!

laureneliz87: I had a lace (sleeveless) dress for my November 2013 wedding. I tried on many different faux fur accessories and in the end fell in love with one very similar to your number 3. SO on that note, I vote #3. 🙂

I like option 3 best…the one with the long sleeves really looks a bit too stuffed-animal-ish.
