I went shopping with my flower girls and their mothers this weekend and am deciding between two dresses.
The first one is $225 which I think is a little too expensive to ask anyone to pay even though the mother’s of my flower girls are insisting that they have no problem paying (they are both so sweet and they just want me to be happy).
The second one, please keep in mind that this dress is a 24t and the girl is almost three. They had just sold the larger size off the rack so I asked my little cousin to try on the smaller size. The back has ruffels (sorry don’t have a picture of the back). This dress is $120 and they will let me know tomorrow if there is an additional shipping charge since they may have to rush the dress. So if there is a shipping charge it could be almost $150-160

i think the ruffles are really cute 🙂 is the material heavier/hotter though? def want the little ones to be comfy!

The second one, in my opinion, is much cuter! The price difference is just a bonus!
I would still think you could pitch in to help pay for it if you want to, but it might not be neccesary depending on your circumstances.
I know I would not want to spend over $100 for a dress for a little girl, but them again you might be able to resell it, too.

@finnaroo- Thanks, I think 4 little flower girls would look cute in anything, but I may be a little biased 😉 It is actually a light satin. The mother thought that the material would be fine for August.

@kcamas- I did want to keep the price under $100, but my cousins and I went to 6 did shops including Davis’s Bridal and even at David’s around us the plain dresses were $99 and noone liked them. Thankfully my cousins are the best so they are so easy, which is why I don’t want them to go broke over my wedding.

Omg, they’re so freaking cute! I do like the first one better. I’m always aiming to get the least expensive option when it comes to others paying for wedding related stuff, but if their mother’s are truly ok with it, then I’d say go with that one. Either way they’ll look cute though.

I like everything about the 2nd one.

Thanks girls. You have made me feel much better. I think we will go with the second one.

I love the first one. The ruffles are romantic and adorable. But you’re right, $225 is a lot! Maybe you can take the picture to a seamstress and have it made. I’d think it would cost under $100 to make.
