What about some kind of mixed-coloured wildflowers, like daisies etc, maybe even dried flowers could look really cute.  You may have to test a few different things.

Do you have any specific colors you want to stick to? If so, get a bunch of different kinds of flowers in your palet and some branches to fill it out and make it look like wild flowers. The tree stumps and owls make me think of like a rustic chic look or something. I would go with a wild flower kind of thing then. I like that you go with your gut and are a little impulsive. I’m the same way! If you’re a total DIY bride like me, then trial and error is really the only way to go.

@lizzimi:  I would do simple arrangements of all one color flowers- either  white or pink. I think using branches could turn those lovely vases into something borderline kitschy.
