So, I’ve run into a bit of a conundrum in regards to what types of flowers to use for my centerpieces. For a little background, I am doing a Vintage/Eclectic themed wedding and my main colors (for the bridal party) are going to be lavender with a touch of peach here and there. However, my decor is where the “eclectic” part of the theme really comes into play and that is where I am running into an issue with what flowers I should use. I am doing a mishmash of different colors and styles of vases and will have a different table square at each table. If you all could let me know your opinions on possible flower choices, that would be fabulous! Below are a few pictures of “test” centerpieces I have done at my kitchen table (sans flowers and candles) to show you the basic look I am aiming for.
Centerpiece Test One!
Centerpiece Test Two!
Centerpiece Test Three!
So, my thoughts at the moment are the following:
1. Use wildflowers in various different colors.
2. Use bunches of baby’s breath with sprigs of lavender (and maybe a few peach colored flowers of another type thrown in for good measure). Or just do baby’s breath alone.
3. ? Get ideas from all of you lovely folks!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
