I am getting married in May and have decided to make my own bouquets with silk flowers. My girls are going to be wearing black dresses with green sash’s and my dress is all white. I’m torn on what to do with flowers. I have made a few ‘samples’ and can’t decide. I thought i would do all green for me but my fiance said he thought it was too much green. He liked the white and green one for my Bridesmaid or Best Man but if i add white to mine it will look the same as theirs. I need a second opinon….HELP.

I thinki that you’re bouquet needs to stand out from your BM’s, so I voted for the white with green for you and all white for them. If you want your bouquet to have more green, try and play around with the other green flowers you have. The green hydrangeas with the white peonies might look nice and it would have more the green you like.

What if the BMs carried all green and you carried all white? My colors are the same as yours and that’s what I’m doing. I also like BMs with all green and you with white and a little green.

i agree with eaq219, with you carrying all white and the bridesmaids with all green.

If it were me, I would have everyone carrying the same green bouquet. I personally don’t care for the look of white bouquets against a white dress since they get lost. But some people like the look, so go with whichever you like best.

I’m with ember- as much as I love the white peonies, they would totally get lost with your dress. I’d give the all white to the BMs and carry the all green for myself. I’d maybe use the white and green combo for aisle pomaders or centerpieces.

I think all-white bouquets for your BMs would look great, with a green and white bouquet for you.

I think it would look good if the BMs carried the all green and you carried the white and green!

I think your Bridesmaid or Best Man should carry all green, and you carry white and green. (good job on making them too, they look awesome!!!)

I agree with your Fiance that all green is too green for you. I’d mix it up and add a little more green if you are worried about yours not standing out. You can also make the Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets slightly smaller so yours would look fuller, or just let them carry green bouquets. I don’t know why, but I feel that an all green bouquet is more for BMs and don’t look bridal enough for a bride?

I think the all green is the prettiest. I think it would look great against your dress.

I agree yours should stand out which is why I also went with the Bridesmaid or Best Man white only and yours mixed.
