I’ve always loved the romantic look of Badgley Mischka shoes so I was thrilled to find these two babies on 50% off sale at Nordstrom. I’ve already ordered them and are waiting for them to arrive! I figured I’d try them both on and decide which one I liked better. But then – I took a look at a photo of my dress and realized that these may not go well together. Since my dress has a lot going on at the bottom, do you think these shoes would add too much and make it too busy? Should I go with a more sleek elegant shoe instead?
I thought about bringing the shoes with me to my first dress fitting in May to see how they look together, but Nordstrom’s return policy is limited to 30 days.
Badgley Mischka Randall
Badgley Mischka Randi
(we’re getting married in a grand old Catholic church, but the reception is on a farm, so I’m trying to straddle the line between being formal and fun)

I think that it looks great. The bottom of your dress has clean lines, where the organic lines are much higher. I think the shoes and dress pair well together. What color did you order?

I think either of them are gorgeous! The ruffly organza details are a nice complement to your dress.

I love the Randall shoe and it would look great with your dress!! I have been eyeing that shoe for a while now but they are out of my budget!!

thanks for the reassurance! I’ll probably reassess when they arrive. Hopefully they’ll be comfy (I have terrible bunions and messed up feet from years of ballet – it makes most pretty shoes uncomfortable!)
@miss11.11.11: I ordered them in the colors shown – the randall I ordered in the blue, and the randi i ordered in the nude.
@ms.walter: check out the shoes at nordstrom.com – they’re both 50% off right now! (I think the Randi is more than 50% off)

I think Randi would look beautiful with your dress!
I wore Badgley Mischka’s in my wedding and I loved them!

I think either one would work. Personally, I LOVE The Randi!!

@babylou: Agreed! They both are gorgeous and either would work…the blue could be fun for a pop of color. Love BMs, I picked Frank in charcoal 🙂

Definitely the Randis!! I have to say, I was eyeing them several weeks ago for my wedding :o). But alas the Fiance is the same height as me so I have to wear flats. 🙁

Both are gorgeous…you can’t go wrong. Which are more comfortable? Is one cheaper?

I love them! I think they match your dress really well and that’s a good thing! I can’t even decide which I like more…they are both gorgeous!

I’m a fan of the Randall myself, so jealous that you found the blue ones for 50% off in your size!
