Ladies,
Which set do you like? (confetti on right or art deco on left)?
I am having a cocktail stule party for our 100-guest wedding in an old french-style building downtown. We aren’t having a theme, but we will be having a 40s-60s style jazz band (six piece, not big band). Also, my dress and our decorations will be modern and somewhat minimalist.
I like the art deco, but worry about getting pigeon-holed into a theme with these invites.
Thoughts, opinions?

I like them both but the art deco is just a tad more formal. Not too formal but a little more wedding-ish than the confetti.

Art Deco is more formal and really sets the tone. The confetti makes me think your wedding is fun, casual, and laid back. It just depends on what you want your guests to take away from your invitation.

I think the one on the left is more elegant. (FYI I think you’ve mixed up left and right on the poll – I assume the one with the scattered dots is ‘confetti’?)

copperbird90: yes, in my text i mixed them up! the photo and poll should match though… random dots on left — confetti.
do you still prefer left? 😉

The right one :p
The one on the left makes me think of New Years.

Both are really fun, but I think the Art Deco (the one with the stripey RSVP) is more elegant, and more formal. I also like that the invitation and the RSVP are different but complementary designs.

cassadina: The photo appears upside down to me lol! Not sure if that’s happening to anyone else. I vote for whichever one does not have the scattered dots

Both really pretty but the left one reminds me of NYE party invite. The art deco is beautiful and elegant.

I also voted art deco. The RSVP card definitely looks art deco to me, but the invite itself doesn’t scream art deco so much that guests will feel it’s your theme.
