@Gerbera: Nice!! Quick tip – on my straightener you have to hold the power button for a second before it turns on. I usually wet2straight on setting 20-22 though I think it says less for my type of hair…I hope you like it!

@Imagelicious: I dont but sometimes this happens to me with threads. I can see someone responded after me but then I cant see their response. Just give it a little bit.

Tokidoki Black Lametta Flat Iron.  Great product!  I say go to sephora and talk to one of the girls.

I have the CHI…. and love it.  Actually, I have purchased 3 (for myself and 2 sisters) with the oldest being 8 yrs old.  I just bought my recent CHI a couple of months ago and it has temperature settings which is great.  You can buy the CHI at the Beauty Supply Outlet locations in the Toronto area or even try Trade Secrets as they are in most major malls.

I would skip Shoppers and go to a Beauty Supply Outlet (there are tonnes in TO)

If you don’t need it immediately, I would order online from the US, you can probably get a better deal even if you have to pay shipping/duty.

I bought my CHI from there about 6 years ago and have never had any problems with it (the only thing I don’t like is that you can’t adjust the heat settings,, it’s either ON or OFF).
