Honestly, the best alternative would be cash so that you don’t have to worry about fees…it seems like such a shame that part of a gift will be going to the company instead of to you! I’m not sure how it works in the UK, but in the US most of the time if you have no registry or a very small registry people will give checks instead, and then you can use that to buy yourself whichever experiences you want on the honeymoon! I’d go that route instead of using a third-party company.

BrideUK:  while i get the idea of a honeymoon registry, i would prefer to give cash to a couple so that i know ALL of the money goes to them, instead of 3% or whatever it is to the registry company.

I used Wanderable, and we loved it. Nevermind those saying to just ask for $$. We got plenty of $$ as well, but people who didn’t attend the wedding loved our honeymoon registry. 


ETA: The fees were only 2.5%… thats $2.50 for ever $100 gifted, which is absolutly nothing.
