I need help bees. I have to find out if I want to wear a underskirt on either of my dresses. I know I definitely do on my ballgown, but I dont want it to be massive and too princess looking. Which one would work best? I havent tried one on with my mermaid, but do you think the one posted below will work with my dress? Help, opinions?
Which hoopskirt for that ballgown?:
& my mermaid with nothing underneath:
Would this crinoline underskirt work for my mermaid?:
Just looking for advice bees. I gotta figure this out asap for my seamstress so she can hem the gowns. Thanks!

I would go with hoop skirt B…I love big ball gowns. And I really think that crinoline slip will help give your mermaid dress some volume. Beautiful dresses!

I would go with A. I’m not a huge fan of poof though, so a bit biased.
I think having less poof is more flattering to your figure.

I would go with hoop skirt A, seems perfect. The other one will add way too much poof to your dress and may make all those layers sit quite weird. Hoop skirt B would work on a ballgown with less detail in the skirt.
The crinoline for the mermaid looks perfect.

First let me tell how beautiful your gowns are !! For me i would go with Skirt A i’m big fan of poof though and the crinoline will perfectly fits the mermaid dress.

I personally would go with Hoopskirt A, I think it would be perfect and not too princessy. I dont think it will make it look aline either when its in addition to the dress. Love the mermaid dress and think that crinoline will be perfect.!

Regarding your mermaid underskirt: bees call it ‘crinoline’ but it’s not. It’s a one-hoop underskirt. I actually ordered similar underskirt for my dress (I posted a picture in JBS thread), which is kinda trumpet, even though I didn’t want any. But my dress is a bit too long and my wedding is in August, so I hope that I will solve 2 problems with just one underskirt: adjust the length and keep the skirt away from my legs.
