We are having a very informal ceremony followed by dinner at a lovely restaurant with approximately 25 guests. I still wanted a white dress, and found these two that I really like, but now I can’t decide between them. The first picture is the fitted one, the second is the flowing one, and the third is both hanging up.
Thoughts? Also do you think I can wear the blue shoes in the pictures with them?

The top one kinds of chops you at the waist. I think it needs something else there-a sash maybe? I actually like both dresses and yes to the shoes.

#2. the first one makes you look top-heavy. i like the flowiness of the second dress.

The proportions on the first one don’t really work for you. The second one looks lovely on you.
The shoes aren’t my favorite, but they work fine. The right amount of dressiness for that style of dress.

i disagree with the other commenters, the top one is very flattering & unique

@inahat:The top one is not the most flattering, it looks too tight around the breast. The second one is beautiful on you. The shoes are not a good match. I think you can find something a little a little more sexy/fun to match the style of the dress. The color blue is fine but not those shoes. Try a cute platform shoe or a sexy slingback. Hit up TJ Maxx or Marshall’s and I’m sure you can find something cute for cheap.

Like others have said, the proportions of the top dress don’t look right on you. It’s very pretty, but you look beautiful in the second one.

The flowing one hits you in all the right places, you look gorgeous! I think the shoes are lovely, too.

I personally like the figure that the first one gives you. I am not too sure about the shoes though

I like the first one a lot more – it shows off the hour glass shape of your figure. The second one is okay, but I think it hides your body and doesn’t define your waist like the first one.
The shoes are okay, but I think it depends on your accessories. If you’ll be wearing the wrap/scarf in the 3rd picture or any other dark blue accessories, then I think those shoes are fine. If you won’t be accessorizing in the same color, then they seem a little harsh and stand out too much from the white/ivory of the dresses. Something that has a little more feminine detail would look really nice. (though I do think those shoes go better with the first dress than the second one.)

The blue shoes are cute but seem a little heavy (for lack of better words). I’d love to see you in a sexy pair of sling backs or peep toes. The ones you’re wearing look like you left the office in them.

@tracieszcz: Agreed. I like the first one way better.

I also like the first one way better. It looks more expensive and fashionable. For a “casual” wedding dress. it’s more formal and you look great in it! I think the shoes work, but I can also see why people are voting no on them. But if you like them, wear them!

I like the second one. You have a nice figure, but the first dress does it no justice. Also, I say no to the blue shoes. Maybe you could find a sexy pair of peep toe pumps or sandals or heels that mimic the little jewels on the second dress.

I love the first one on you!
