I can’t decide between these two mockups. I’m including a picture of the invitation that I used as my inspiration, but quite frankly, I like them both and can’t decide, so I need you ladies to help me decide!
Also, I can’t decide if I should use the ampersand or not. I know it’s supposed to be reserved for more “business” occasions and it’s not supposed to be used on formal invitations, but quite frankly, I don’t care. Do you think it’s a big deal, or should I not worry about it?

I can’t really read your names in the one on the left

is it b/c the picture is small or b/c of the script? If you click on the picture of the invitations, it’ll blow it up to actual size (not that I think you didn’t know that, but I didn’t realize the picture would load so small, so in case anyone needs to see it better to vote, they can blow it up).

I think the one on the right looks classier.
The left one looks more informal.

I really like the font for the body text on the left, but I think the font with your names on the right is more readable. So maybe use them together? I think the ampersand would look great if you made it bigger and moved it to the left of your names so it’s more prominent.
Great work designing them! 🙂

If i got the one on the left i would wonder who was getting married. go with the one of the right. Love them by the way!

I agree….I can’t read your names in the left one.

Can I do a mashup of your invitations, please? 🙂
I love the all caps on the left, but I like the font you picked for your names on the right.
I also love the ampersand, but would rather see it on the line between your names, instead of at the end of the line with your name.
they’re looking good though!

I’m with the other ladies! I think the one on the right because it’s SOOOO much easier to read your names! Looking great though. 🙂

I love everything about the invite on the right, I’d just go with that.

@bunnyfoofoo: What font(s) is the bottom invitation written in! I love the script!

I agree with everything daydreamwanderer said. I was trying to figure out how to word what I thought and she did it already so perfectly!

Not related to your question, but I feel like the branches are not definitely branch-like. In the inspiration it looks like branches, but when I looked at yours I thought at first that it was coral reef or some underwater plant.

I like the invitations on the right better, partly because I can read your names most clearly.
I advise not to use the ampersand, mainly because of balance. Since the ampersand is on the first line, it’s not balanced (also your name is longer, so it makes that line a lot longer). Aesthetically, the “and” being inbetween your names looks the best.
