The first one is perfectly creepy and inviting

I like version #1 a lot!  It’s fun-creepy, whereas the last one is just creepy-creepy lol.  We’ll hopefully be getting a place together soon, and we might have to take this idea 🙂

I like the third. But I would leave out the “strongly.” It comes across a bit demanding. “Costumes encouraged” gets the same message across with a better tone.

    Great work–you’re super creative!

I wouldn’t have known it was a costume party if you didn’t have the “Costumes Encoraged” portion.  I’d keep it if I were you:)

@Crabbabs: Yes. I think the date is a pretty big clue, too.

I really like the third – but it’s a bit harder to read, not sure if it’s just the picture (or my monitor)?

@Crabbabs: i don’t  think the invite is pushy at all.. my friend had a toga party where (who woulda thunk) togas were mandatory.. and people showed up in jeans :-/

@Crabbabs: Totally obvious it is a Halloween theme, and I like the strongly encouraged- I would keep it – or at least keep the costume part in some way – nobody wants to assume it is a costume party and be the only person to show up ias a banana

I like the first one (the 3rd is cool too but it is harder to read).
