So, after much debate and another thread about which invites to pick. We have narrowed the choices down to just 2.
Here is my inspiration board:
The invites have been quite a struggle.
Option 1 is one of my choices from my last poll. It’s a black and white, polka dot, art deco design from a seller on etsy. It would cost me around $200 for 40 invites. FI prefers this one, as does my brother.
Option 2 is an invite that I designed myself in photoshop. I feel like it fits the wedding, with its kind of quirky, cute feel. This option would end up being much less expensive. All I would have to pay for would be the paper, which I would order from Cards and Pockets (pocketfolds! It’s what I wanted all along!). The husband of one of my mother’s friends is a printer and offered to print all of the invites for free! Yay for friendors! This would end up costing somewhere between $80-$115. My mother, my brother’s GF and I all like this one.
I also made a reception and an Info and Accomodations card that are the same design as the RSVP.
So, what do you guys think? I’m torn. I like both, but I’m not sure which I should go with.

I like the 2nd ones. Much more personal and more details.

I like the second set. They fit really well with your inspiration board (which, by the way, I LOVE!)

I like the 2nd one way better!
I think it really fits the feel of your inspiration bored more it is more fun and interesting to the eye whereas the other one is more hard and formal.

I’m loving the second one as well :]

Can I choose both? 🙂 I like the coloring of the 2nd one more so Id go with that.

Number 2 for sure!!!! The first one is alsmost too “circular” for me…. the organization of the dots is distracting to me. Plus money saving is always a bonus!!!

I like the second one more but I would undo the curved ending at the bottom of your RSVP. Nothing else is curved so I think it interrupts the uniformity.

The second one really pops…I agree with sahsabahs about the bottom of the RSVP card though.

I’m going to go against the grain here and say that I LOVE THE FIRST ONE! So amazingly clean and modern. The second is too busy for me. SOmething about the fonts is irking me, as well.

I like your design, but I will be honest and say I prefer the first one as well. Your inspiration board is whimsical, sure, but it’s also quite structured and most of your pictures have very defined shapes and symmetry. The first seems to match a bit better for me. I’d do something a little fun like add bright envelope liners or something to bring in some pops of colors.

I like the first one as well. I think it could be the paper that’s swaying me a bit but I think it looks fun but classy. Something about the polka dots on the second one seems off (not sure what – either too small or too much space or something).

# 2 for sure!!! I love it

I’m going to be difficult. I like the first invites better and the second response card better, the response card in the first one reminds me a bit of an optical illusion.
