NOBODY GIVES A CRAP!!!!
Seriously, stop giving other people grief for what they wear on their fingers. You don’t like it? Don’t wear it then!!!
Right at this very second, a person is starving to death, a child is being subjected to forced labour, a woman is being raped, a political prisoner is being tortured, wildlife is being destroyed and what are you doing? Little old you, sitting in front of your keyboard getting all wound up because what other people do makes you feel so insecure you can’t handle it.

THIS!!! There are more important things in life than weddings/rings/money! People need to get their priorities straight. Not saying you shouldn’t have your dream wedding with your budget (I am after all) but we should all take a second and be thankful that we are in the privileged position to be able to do it! And allow others to be happy and have their moment. Stop judging.

I’m posting to follow and will check this thread again later in the AM or PM. Some bees seriously take this subject (and others) wayyyyy too seriously!

I have nothing to add, so here’s the most ridiculous gif I have on my computer to match the level of ridiculousness ring drama gets to sometimes.

Thank you for saying this. It’s easy to get wrapped up in little things. Thanks for giving everyone perspective.

Yes!!! I’m so over those threads. I don’t know why they keep popping up!

Agreed. It’s really sad how wrapped up some people are in what basically amounts to just shiny rocks wrapped on their finger. Just STFU already.

@allihappy: Fantastic! Thank you!

It amazes me how people can get so wrapped up in something as shallow as the whole D vs M thing. It’s fine to have an opinion (I have one myself on the topic) but to waste hours on the internet debating the questions seems like such a waste of energy and so pointless to me. If you don’t like Moissys, don’t buy one. If you think your moissy is far superior to a diamond, that’s nice, no one really cares, and you are never going to convince a diamond girl of that.
It just reminds me of everything else about weddings–no one cares about your ring or what the stone is as much as you do. In the real world–not forums dedicated to all things wedding–most people pay very little attention to e-rings beyond when they first appear on your finger.
I often wish that there was a way to filter out particular boards from showing in the main page. I would happily filter out the Ring board, so I can be spared the weekly Diamond vs Moissy bunfight.
