Which one is she least likely to splurge on for herself?  For me, I bought a really nice quality work tote because I saw it as a ‘practical’ purchase (even though I never spend lots of $$$ on bags.)  However, I’d never splurge on a fancy expensive flat iron/curler, even though I completely covet the ghd one my mother has, and hope she somehow leaves it at my house someday.  🙂  If she’s a hair curling FIEND, though, she might already have a really nice one that she loves.  You know how some people are about their gadgets!

Both sound like really great gifts.  I’m sure she would like both items.  If it were me, I think I might go with the Coach bag.  Even though I’m sure she’d get a lot of use out of the hair products, the bag would be something she’d have with her every day at her new job.  That way she can remember you (and your wedding) each time she looks at it. 🙂

If she wouldn’t splurge on either, I’d definitely go for the bag, since she’d probably really love a nice one for her new job.

I"m the loner voting for "basket of goodies" incl. the curling iron.  This is b/c I’m super picky about handbags…so I guess it depends on whether she’s similar.

Either way, though, both gifts are super thoughtful!

I’m not a big Coach fan, so I would go for the goody basket. That’s the sort of stuff that I always go cheap on. It would be great to have really high-quality products.

Coach is the way to go! If you’re worried, just let her know that by no means should she feel bad returning it for something more her style if you don’t get it just right. I would be thrilled….

I own two coach purses that I use CONSTANTLY and they have worn really really well. I am not into brands or hype. I would have never purchased such items for myself. One year, I these purses from two separate people. One is a gold clutch and one is a small black purse. They are perfect for going out and I wear them with everything!!! I am actually going to use the gold one as my wedding purse. I have looked around and found nothing better.

I do appreciate high-quality stying products as well, but irons fry your hair over time.

Everytime your Maid/Matron of Honor wears the purse, she will think of you fondly and smile. That’s what I do with my purses.

I hope this helps. It looks like everyone loves purses!
