The only one I have tried is Tarte Amazonia Clay and I didn’t really like it. It is very full coverage, and I liked it at first when my skin was oily. But my skin became more dry and it looked terrible when my skin was drier.
I think MUFE HD has become the new standard for full coverage foundation that photographs well. Get a couple samples from Sephora so you can try them out at home. Foundations seem to react differently on everyone, there can be a cult fave that everyone loves but there will still be some people that hate it. The only way to know is to try.

@HLiska3: I have combination oily/dry skin and suffer from breakouts and I LOVE Smashbox 15 hour longwear foundation! I put it over Smashbox photo ready primer and top it off with some powder and a few spritzes of Urban Decay’s all Nighter setting spray.

I’ve been stuck on BareMinerals for a few years now. It doesn’t give very heavy coverage, but concealer can be used underneath it when needed. I think it makes my skin look great.

I have acne prone skin, acne scars to cover up, and have reallt oily skin. Its been a pain to find good coverage that doesn’t make me break out more.
I just stared using Pur Minerals liquid foundation, its the 4 in 1 and it offers really good coverage with a natural look.

And another vote for Make Up Forever HD

I’m actually a fan of Revlon’s Nearly Naked foundation on the budget end, but I like the Lancome Teint Miracle and MUFE HD. The Chanel foundations are lovely as well but $$$$$ for me.

I also vote for either revlon colorstay or MUFE HD. I’ve really tried many foundations, but the quality and durability of revlon still beats anything for the price and huge color selection. I apply with the beatyblender – all these three are amazing products, and revlon even has colorstay for oily skin which really controls my oil. I can’t love this stuff enough!

I use Estee Lauder DayWear BB Creme, and it is AMAZING for oily skin! It’s great by itself or under foundation. My skin looks fantastic when I use it. I get nice even skintone and a healthy looking glow.
I also tried Garnier Skin Renew BB Cream and it sucked. It was always very slick and never absorbed into my skin.

Definitely Make-Up Forever HD or Smashbox Halo HD. Those are my two faves!

I love my make up forever HD foundation! I’ve also used Laura Mercier and liked it but I stick to Make Up Forever

I would stick to clinique, just get a concealer.

+ 1 for Revlon Colorstay, used it for my wedding day makeup. I applied it with a kabuki brush and it blends in really well and did not look cakey.
for my everyday makeup I use the L’oreal mineral makeup.

My favorite for your particular type of skin (which sounds an awful lot like my skin…acne, redness, oily) is Estee Lauder Double Wear. It is very thick so that could be a deterrent for you, but NOTHING makes my skin look as flawless as this stuff does. I use a Sonia Kashuk sponge (that looks like the beauty blender) and work quickly on one section of my face at a time and it essentially gives me a blank canvas to work with. I also have the oiliest skin of anyone I know and it’s the only makeup I can wear all day (literally I could wear it from 6am-11pm and it would stay). I HIGHLY recommend trying it.

Revlon Color Stay for me too. I also have oily skin.
