it should be either “mr. and mrs. (man’s first name) (last name)” or “mrs. (woman’s first name) and mr. (man’s first name) (last name)”

mr. and mrs. john and jane doe is not correct. you shouldn’t break up the man’s name, so you can either say “mr. and mrs. john doe” or “mrs. jane and mr. john doe”

Are you saying you want to include first names on the invite?

I think traditionally it should be like this without the first names:

    Mr. and Mrs. John Doe

    and

    Ms. Jane Jack

along with Mr. and Mrs. John Jack

If you want to include first names then it shoud be like this, without the mr. and ms stuff:

    John and Jane Doe

    and

    Jane Jack

along with John and Janet Jack

I think that putting all of those names look too wordy. On our invitation we just said “Along with our parents, we Jane Doe and John Doe Inite you to blah blah blah…”

I just thought you used the Man’s name. Like your new/recent correction!

I also understand needing to list everybody if they are contributing. My parents would be very upset if the invite didn’t ave then listed as hosts

In that case is should read:

    Mr. And Mrs. John doe

Invite you to the marriage of their daughter

    Soandso

    To

    Soandso

Son of mr. And mrs. John kack

    And ms.jane jack

Since his parents aren’t hosting the wedding they shouldn’t be at the top
