so after having used 30 day shred for a week, i stopped by the local walmart yesterday to buy JM’s trouble zones and burn fat/boost metab dvd’s…
i did it has a precautionary measure, so that i don’t let myself use the “30 ds workouts are getting mundane and boring” excuse!
has anyone tried those? which do you like best and why? how do you mix up your workouts?

I bought the Shred a few months ago and have been mixing it with running, but it was getting kind of old and I wanted to get some other non-running workout dvds. So this past weekend I bought the other two discs and tried then yesterday and Monday. Overall, I think that I like the No More Trouble Zones the best because I felt like I got the best overall workout and today muscle that I didn’t even know I had hurt like no other. I think I am going to keep mixing them all up with running and see how things go in the next two months.

I’ve never done the Shred or the trouble zones ones, but I LOVE the boost metabolism one! I heard that was the most cardio-active DVD, so that’s why I went with it. It kills you, and even my husband, who’s in pretty decent shape, could only get through the first 15 mins at first, but we’re slowly building our way up.
It’s an amazing workout, and all the movements are really simple.

I do them all on a rotating basis. My ranking is: No More Trouble Zones, Banish Fat, and then the Shred. Trouble Zones is a great workout, and I would much rather do that than Banish Fat, which is all cardio because I hate cardio! That being said, Banish Fat is also a great workout, and I do it in place of my 30 minute run if the weather is bad or if I don’t want to leave my house. I don’t really do the shred much anymore. I started off with that one and was doing level 3 pretty well before trying Trouble Zones. I think it’s a good preparation for the other 2 videos, which are longer and require more endurance. I still do the shred after my 30 minute run sometimes because I like to get more than just a half hour of exercise.
