    I really liked both your choices! But we ended up going with a Hummer which I was very against but it was a gift from my brother. ๐Ÿ™‚ At the end we actually really liked the Hummer, it was really cool!

    We had 9 adults and 3 kids. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Our ceremony and reception are at the same place. I’m getting dressed at the church and we’re leaving for our honeymoon right away after the reception so we really didn’t need a special vehicle. A friend offered his classic car–he has a gorgeous 1936 Plymouth, but all we’d do would be take pictures in or around it or drive around the block and I wasn’t that excited about it. So we’re just doing our own car.

    We spent 5K total for the wedding, reception and the pig roast the next day. The idea of using a limo never entered our heads!

    We walked from the ceremony to the reception (about a block and a half, across a college campus) with the wedding party.

    At the end of the night, UIL (uncle in law, hehe), who owns a car dealership, provided a nice car (I have no idea what it was) and Father-In-Law chauffeured us to the hotel.

    Other- we are using a party limo bus due to the large amount of people in our wedding party!  This is from the church to the reception site.   Fiance rented us a black Lincoln town car to get us to the hotel after the reception.

    We so wanted to have a limo, but we had to make choices and we got uplighting instead! Luckily, Father-In-Law has a white Jaguar that looks very bridal, so we used that! He decorated it with tulle, bows, flowers, etc. and it was really cute! One of the groomsmen chauffered…minus the top hat ๐Ÿ˜›

    A friend let us borrow a classic car that my husband and I rode in, then we rented 2 vans to shuttle the wedding party around.

    @ccflowers:

    um. If my Father-In-Law had a Jaguar I would totally use that over a limo anyday!

    I really wanted to get my husband a Mustang ( I think a Shelby GT) to drive from my brother’s house to venue (45mins) but they were $$$$ to rent!

    We will use “our own” in the sense that Fiance and his family own lots of classic cars. We’re pretty sure we’re using his Grandpa’s 1936 Ford. One of the cute ones with the back seat in the trunk? I have no idea how to describe it but it’s AWESOME. We might use FI’s Tempest though.
