So I have narrowed down my options to two people but I’m having troubles deciding who so I am here for your suggestions!
Makeup artist 1:
She has a great website of her style and things she has also done in the past. PLUS! She can also do out hair so we won’t have to go to the salon, everything is done at my house. She has the most experience
Unfortunately, she is harder to get a hold of. When I email her she takes about 5+ days to respond. (this is really my only con)
Makeup artist 2:
She doesn’t have pictures of her work to see. Her cost is normally more expensive but matched the rate of the first artist. She does not do hair so we’d just go to a salon.
She is super friendly though and nearly always emails me back within a day. She hadn;t heard from me for about a week so she sent an email just to check up on what my plans are.
So who would you choose!

i would go with the first one! you wanna be able to see a portfolio of pics! if you are worried about her being ‘flakey’ i would see if she does a written up contract once you book; this will make her accountable.

@adnama: I would go with the more experienced especially if she has pictures up. I might not mind having to get hold of her for 5 days as she might be busier than the less experienced one. You can always ask for her phone number as it gets closer to your wedding.

Thanks for all the votes guys 🙂 It looks like number 1 is best

From seeing other people’s makeup artist experiences…I think it’s important to be able to actually see the persons work.

If theres no pics theres no way I would go with them. I say the first one seems to be your best bet.

I would also go with the 1st one as personality isn’t going to be showing up in your wedding pictures like her actual work will be!
Just make sure to get a trial! You didn’t mention it here – I assumed you’d be booking one – but you can get a trial with both, right? That really should be your deciding factor over anything else.
