(Closed) Which make up artist should I go with?

    i would go with the first one! you wanna be able to see a portfolio of pics! if you are worried about her being ‘flakey’ i would see if she does a written up contract once you book; this will make her accountable.

    @adnama:  I would go with the more experienced especially if she has pictures up.  I might not mind having to get hold of her for 5 days as she might be busier than the less experienced one.  You can always ask for her phone number as it gets closer to your wedding.

    From seeing other people’s makeup artist experiences…I think it’s important to be able to actually see the persons work.

    If theres no pics theres no way I would go with them. I say the first one seems to be your best bet.

    I would also go with the 1st one as personality isn’t going to be showing up in your wedding pictures like her actual work will be! 

    Just make sure to get a trial! You didn’t mention it here – I assumed you’d be booking one – but you can get a trial with both, right? That really should be your deciding factor over anything else.
