I would go with the second.  If you are not overly impressed with the first ones photos I don’t know that you will like you in them either.  I think a make up trial a week before is plenty of time.  You might be able make an appointment using someone elses house that you are more comfortable with, maybe your hair salon (as long as they don’t do make up)?

I agree, the 2nd one seems like a better choice.  Signing a contract is a bit much, but I have seen it before.  Atleast you know THEY can’t cancel on YOU last minute; so it does goes in both favors.

If you don’t like the pics from the first one, then theres no point is going with that choice.  I agree, can’t you meet somewhere else other than your home?  Families members, friends/bridesmaids, etc?  Or have you told them that your house is unable and see if they have another solution?  (I’m sure you’re not the only bride that requests a trial and can’t have it at their house).  Talk with them and tell them the dilemma and see how they’ll help a new customer 🙂  Good luck!

Go with the second! The fact that they have a studio and an established business seem a bit more reassuring to me! and if you aren’t impressed by any of the work you see on the first website, I say stay away!
