B sounds delishhhhh!
B sounds delishhhhh!
Dude honestly, I would go with D. Like you’ve stated, it’s the cheapest, and it sounds AMAZING. There’s variety and sophistication, but it also sounds like food my mom would make for me, not something a caterer would slap together. Doooo ittttt.
B sounds the tastiest to me. I am a vegetarian though, so it made me happy that there was something I could eat! Lol! That might be something to consider IF you have any vegetarian guests. Just my input 😄
A was already my LAST pick even before seeing prices, so with price factored in, that one would be out of the running entirely. B is my favorite menu, then I couldn’t decide between C & D. Both looked good, but I still prefer B.
I don’t KNOW of any guests that are vegetarian, so I’m not too worried about that. All but one of the options will have Mac and cheese anyway so that’s a viable option since we’ll have a buffet.
I think D is the most me (I love truffle Mac and scallops), but I’m also a much more adventurous eater than most people. Also, it’s a grocery store (a nice one to be fair) so I don’t know what the service would be like. The ingredients would be quality though.
Fiance and I put the most thought/work into getting the proposal for C, so it’s a solid balance of our tastes. The menu is well-balanced, safe, but unique enough to placate me. They were also the most responsive with a proposal and setting up a tasting, which appeals to my type A brain.
B’s appetizers are extensive which is exciting, but the rest kind of bored me when I read it to be honest. However, it sounds like a lot of people here like that menu, so maybe boring isn’t awful 🙂
A is the only one of the 4 that is actually a sit-down restaurant that also happens to do catering. It’s the surest bet of the 4. I know the service would be great, and the restaurant has solid food, but the price is super off putting. I actually love the appetizer ideas, but again I’m pretty adventurous in my palate.
Ughhhh this decision is making my Costco pizza rolls idea sound better by the minute haha.
B, C, A, D
Posted before I saw the prices. And while I love scallops I know a lot of people who don’t, and it can be challenging to put out that many plates of scallops at one time well prepared.
Can you combine the menus to suit your tastes and ask the most reliable/best service option to requote?
caterer B & D are my two favorites!
I actually liked C & D before you posted the prices!
