I have a platinum plain wedding band and a white gold solitaire. I’m planning to get my stone reset for my anniversary and I can’t decide which metal to get. Rose gold, white gold, or palladium. Platinum is out of our budget. Here are a couple photos of the setting I want. Both versions, rose and white. Thanks!

I vote palladium just because gold scratches and dents SO easily. Especially after having had platinum, I think you’re going to find that gold doesn’t stand up nearly as well. I have 14k white gold and my ring would be in so much better shape if it was palladium or platinum.

@MsJ2theZ: Thanks for your vote! That’s exactly why I’m considering palladium, durability.

@itoshiineko: I went with Palladium, and I’m so happy that I did!

@itoshiineko: rose gold definitely, the setting reminds me of a rose–love it! The majority of rings are in white metal, I think the rose gold will make your ring even more unique!
