I haven’t posted here in months, but I’ve come out of lurking because I’m officially a “waiting” bee yayy!! I have decided on a morganite e-ring because I love the unique, vintage glam look. I am seriously contemplating between two but being ever so indecisive I wanted some opinions..
Number 1 has a 8mm round center stone (approx 2 carat)
Number 2 has a cushion cut center stone, 11x9mm (approx 3.5 carats)
*edited** The mentions of rose gold made me remember this beautiful one I found earlier.. 2.5 oval morganite in rose gold
The seller told me the model is about a size 5, I am a size 5.5

I like the look of the first one! Have you considered yellow gold? There’s something breathtaking about yellow or rose gold and morganite.

@MissCalifornia: I am definitely considering rose gold, it is soo pretty! I am most likely going to custom design my ring but at this point I’m trying to decide betwwen some existing ones to find my ideal cut/size. Thanks for your response! 🙂

I super-support rose gold options, especially with this type of ring and a pale pink/peach stone, IMO it can’t be beat.
I think the round stone has a more classic feel, and the cushion has a more glam feel. Don’t know which type of girl you are, but I voted for round since I tend toward the classic.

@Cecilia37: you and jocember mentioning the rose gold made me remember another gorgeous option in rose gold that I found earlier! I definitely agree with you on your classic vs glam comment.. I feel like I am both which is probably why it’s hard to pick a favorite!

I love the first one, and usually I chose cushions over rounds, but the size is perfect in the round. Personally, the cushion one is a bit too big for my liking. The last is gorgeous too, but something about the first screams elegant and classic.

I LOVE ovals so I voted for the last one. Gorgeous!!!

I love the oval. Plus, morganite and rose gold go together so nicely!

they’re all gorgeous but I voted for the first one because I really love the look of the round halo, plus the size is nice. The second one is just too big IMO for an everyday ring. You risk looking cocktail ring ish at that size, especially in a colored stone. I like the oval also but the round is the most classic I think.

the morganite oval and the rose gold were MADE for each other, you can’t go wrong with that combination (plus that setting is the prettiest in my opinion!!!)

I LOVE cushion cut, but the oval and rose gold is amazing!!

For some reason I love morganite in oval. Always have. I pick that one!

I love the cushion and oval shapes for a morganite, in the size of a 2 ct, and if you are not someone who minds the gold being different from your other jewelry (or if you already wear rose gold), I LOVE morganite with rose gold! It is sooo beautiful. Make sure you think about what kind of wedding band you want to be able to wear when you order it.
I might be biased though, since I just custom ordered my new rose gold oval morganite ring 🙂

It’s so hard to decide. I think the round and cushion cut are so pretty, but I agree that they have different styles, and it depends on what fits *your* style.
Can you share the sellers of these rings? I’m looking for a morganite engagement ring myself! 🙂
