    I really think Martin Sheen was so popular when The West Wing was on the air that he could’ve actually won. Which is kind of frightening.

    Not a movie, but Jed Bartlett from The West Wing. Although I’d vote for Martin Sheen too. 

    And I think Michael Douglas in The American President is awesome too!!

    From a movie… Andrew Shepard (Michael Douglas) in The American President. It was written by the creator of The West Wing and Martin Sheen played his Chief of Staff.
